Welcome to the Bernard Posniak Gallery. I am a photographer, digital veteran, and visual storyteller currently based in Shlomi, Israel, right on the edge of the northern border. My journey to this gallery has been shaped by the diverse cultures, landscapes, and experiences that have defined my life across two distinct continents.

The Journey Behind the Lens

Originally from South Africa, I grew up surrounded by a landscape of intense contrasts, a place that naturally trains your eye to look for the story within the scenery. Today, I call Israel’s northern border home. Living in this beautiful, complex, and historically rich region provides a constant source of inspiration. The unique Mediterranean light and the quiet resilience of the north deeply influence how I capture the world.

Digital Roots, Tangible Art

For over three decades, I have built a career in the fast-paced world of digital marketing and SEO. I’ve spent my professional life optimizing the digital landscape, helping stories and brands be seen on screens around the world.

However, the Bernard Posniak Gallery was born out of a desire for something tangible. After years of working with pixels and algorithms, I wanted to create art that you can hold, frame, and live with. Photography allows me to step away from the digital noise and freeze a single, silent moment in time.
